Yoga is for every body—no flexibility required! Follow these simple steps to begin your practice with confidence.
1. Start Where You Are
You don’t need to touch your toes
Modifications are encouraged
Progress happens with consistency, not perfection
2. Essential Gear
Mat: Choose non-slip (5mm thick ideal)
Clothing: Stretchy, breathable fabrics
Props: Blocks and straps help (but pillows work too!)
3. 5 Beginner-Friendly Poses
Mountain Pose (Tadasana): Stand tall, feet rooted
Cat-Cow: Sync spine movements with breath
Downward Dog: Pedal feet to stretch gently
Warrior I: Build strength and focus
Child’s Pose: Rest and reset anytime

4. Practice Tips
Breathe: Inhale/exhale through nose
Go Slow: Hold poses 3-5 breaths
Listen to Your Body: Discomfort ≠ pain
5. Beginner Routine
5 min warm-up (neck rolls, shoulder circles)
10 min pose practice (choose 3-5 above)
5 min Savasana (lie still, palms up)
Remember: Yoga is a journey—not a performance. Start with 10-15 minutes daily and grow from there.
